Rust Developer; Blockchain

Position: Rust Developer (Blockchain)
Location: Montreal

We are seeking an experienced  Rust Developer  with a background in  Blockchain  technology for one of our clients focused on  web3  and emerging technologies. The ideal candidate has experience working on and shipping projects in  DeFi  and has written  smart contracts  from scratch.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop scalable applications based on blockchain technology.
Write and maintain code in Rust and other backend-oriented languages as needed.
Research traits, solutions, trends, and security measures for blockchain technology.
Create and deploy blockchain smart contracts.
Develop and maintain automated tests.
Identify and mitigate security risks.
Provide accurate time estimates for project tasks.
Contribute to instructional and technical documentation.
Propose innovative solutions to technical challenges and participate in discussions.
Does that sound like you?
1+ year of professional experience with the Rust programming language.
Proven experience in developing enterprise-grade solutions for platforms like Blockchain, Fin Tech, or Artificial Intelligence.
Strong understanding of security best practices.
Ability to set up development environments from scratch.
Self-motivated, proactive, and a team player.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Comfortable in an agile development environment.

Experience with Cosmwasm.

Experience with Substrate.
Knowledge of Graph

QL, Ethereum nodes, and Ethereum JSON-RPC API.
Proficiency in English and French; additional languages are a plus.
