    Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

    About the role

    The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating initiatives that improve operational effectiveness, streamline processes, and support the growth of Intact’s Surety business across Canada and the U.S. This role will drive cross-functional projects that touch operations, technology, business intelligence, and client/broker experience.

    The Project Manager ensures projects are clearly defined, well-structured, and successfully executed, delivering measurable results in line with Surety Solutions’ mandate of operational excellence and innovation

    What you'll do here:

    Project Delivery & Execution

  • Lead the end-to-end management of projects that enhance operations, technology adoption, and workflow efficiency.

  • Develop charters, schedules, milestones, and workplans aligned to Surety Solutions priorities.

  • Track deliverables, manage risks, and escalate issues proactively.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with leaders and teams across Surety, Operations, Technology, and Analytics.

  • Ensure projects are aligned with business needs and communicate progress to senior management.

  • Act as a connector between front-line users, managers, and technical teams.

  • Process & Change Enablement

  • Analyze current workflows to identify pain points and improvement opportunities.

  • Implement lean processes and automation tools to simplify and accelerate delivery.

  • Support change management efforts to ensure adoption of new practices and systems.

  • Measurement & Reporting

  • Define success metrics (e.g., cycle times reduced, error rates lowered, adoption rates improved).

  • Provide timely updates, dashboards, and executive reporting.

  • Ensure initiatives deliver measurable impact to the Surety Solutions team.

  • What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or related field.

  • Insurance and/or Surety industry knowledge.

  • 5+ years of relevant project management experience, preferably in financial services, insurance, or operations.

  • PMP, Agile, or Lean Six Sigma certification an asset.

  • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • · Proven ability to deliver projects on time and with measurable outcomes.

  • Comfort with technology (e.g., Salesforce, Power BI, workflow tools) is a plus.

  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.

  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
