Join the Enterprise Architecture and Artificial Intelligence team in the role of Solutions Architect. In this role, you will be responsible for the creation, maintenance and management of CMHC’s Solutions. You will be responsible for the development, evolution, documentation and publication of the architecture, application development and commercial off-the-shelf related elements of CMHC’s Applications and Platforms.
What you'll do:
Lead the evaluation, design and analysis for the implementation of solutions across a group of specific business applications or technologies, based on enterprise business strategies, business capabilities, business requirements and enterprise standards.Develop models and documentation of architecture while designing, overseeing and approving the development of solutions and use of different platforms within CMHC.Provide insight, guidance and decisions to third-party vendors, external firms and CMHC business lines(directors) on making decisions with regards to the technical direction of CMHC (including how to proceed with the EA Target State architecture).Track the company application portfolio and assisting project teams to shape architectures consistent with platforms, roadmaps and standards for architect and design.Resolve technical issues, providing technical support and quality control throughout all stages of systems architecture projects.Translate business and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint to achieve business objectives and documents all solution architecture design and analysis work.Research, gather, document and disseminate cloud best practices for governance and use of IaaS, PaaS and SaaS.Match business needs with cloud solutions based on requirements to maximize the business value.What you should have:
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Business Administration with a concentration in Information Systems or a related field.A minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in at least two IT solution development disciplines — e.g., technical or infrastructure architecture, network management, cloud application development, application development, middleware, IT Security or database management.
