Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant, SRE Prod Support with Python
In this role, you will be responsible for coding, testing and delivering high quality deliverables, and should be willing to learn new technologies.
Responsibilities
Serve as the frontline responder for platform and application issues in production.
Monitor system health, perform incident triage, and root cause analysis.
Collaborate with SRE, Dev Ops, and development teams to maintain platform stability.
Work with Autosys for job scheduling, monitoring, and recovery.
Design and develop reusable, parameterized, and scalable test packs using Pytest and Locust.
Automate performance, reliability, and resilience in test cases for cloud-hosted workloads.
Integrate non-functional test packs into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git Hub Workflows.
Design and execute chaos experiments to identify system weaknesses.
Validate application behavior under failure conditions and contribute to resilience improvements.

Minimum Qualifications
BE/B Tech/MCA
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Strong Python development experience focused on automation and test engineering.
Hands-on experience with Pytest and Locust for functional and non-functional test automation.
Intermediate Linux skills (file system, networking, systemd, permissions, process monitoring).
Experience with production support, platform health monitoring, and incident management.
Familiarity with chaos engineering tools and practices.
Working knowledge of Git, Git Hub Workflows, and Jenkins pipelines.
Proficiency in using and troubleshooting Docker containers.
Experience with Autosys or equivalent job schedulers.
Understanding of production workloads, deployment architectures, and scalability challenges.
