Our team is the infrastructure organization supporting all entities in the Americas for all infrastructure technology requirements including workstations including computers, telephones and email, Data centers hosting, networks/telecommunications, end user computing services, market Data administration infrastructure and data services

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Experience working in a large, 7x24, Investment Bank

• Must be organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, disciplined, professional, and a team player able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to present and explain technical information

• Database management experience, including installation, maintenance, migration/upgrades, and database refreshes

• Database architectural knowledge

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Experience Needed

• 6+ years hands-on experience on MSSQL (-)

• 2+ years hands-on experience on Postgres

• 3+ years hands-on experience on Oracle (19c, 12c) databases on Unix/Linux

• 1+ years of development experience

• Good knowledge of languages English, French required
* • Experience handling large databases

• Experience with the Oracle Optimizer plans and hints

• Experience with MSSQL performance tuning

• Experience with building automation tools or APIs using Python

• Experience with shell scripting and Linux script development

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience

Desired / Plus:

• Certification in Database administration

Technical Skills
SQL Server / Oracle:

• MSSQL –, Cluster, Always On

• Postgres, Oracle 19C

• RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN, Oracle Enterprise Manager

• Unix shell scripting, Linux Operating system

• Windows server operating system / cluster

• EMC-SAN technologies

• Experience in Agile Methodology

• Power Shell knowledge

• Python knowledge
