We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst Intern to support the design and maintenance of Business Intelligence (BI) systems. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in analyzing business needs, building solutions, and working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
Responsibilities
Contribute to the design and development of BI solutions, including data models, dashboards, and reporting tools.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment between business goals and BI capabilities.
Document data flows, transformation logic, and user guides to support solution adoption.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and documentation.
Track BI project progress and ensure deliverables are aligned with business needs and timelines.
Analyze performance data to implement continuous improvements in reporting and data quality.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and deliver user training on BI tools
The role involves daily (or regular) communication with pan-Canadian stakeholders.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in data engineering, analytics, business analytics, or a related field.
Proficient in Microsoft Suite, including Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Proficient in Power BI, with knowledge of ETL principles, relational databases and data model standards.
Familiarity with SQL, Snowflake, or Python is an asset.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects with accuracy.
Adaptable and effective in dynamic environments.
Proactive and solution-driven mindset.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
