Accessibility Designer/Researcher - Internship/Coop; Summer
Location: Montreal
Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

We are looking for an Accessibility Designer/Researcher for our growing team!
What you’ll do here:
Contribute to the development of UX patterns and/or resources to support other teams to produce accessible products.
Support research initiatives on accessibility and inclusive design projects.
Help design and facilitate collaborative decision-making workshops.
Design and document revised processes for product design, development, and quality assurance.
Communicate effectively and manage change across different teams.
Support the design and delivery of training sessions focused on accessibility and inclusive practices.
Evaluate accessibility through in-depth research, product testing, or design reviews.
What you bring to the table:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Inclusive Design, UX Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Desire to work on guidelines, resources, training and UX patterns that impact many teams rather than designing components or screens yourself.
Interest in the end-to-end product development process from research through design, development and QA.
Experience doing inclusive research, accessible product design, and accessible development considered an asset.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Adaptability, curiosity, and commitment to continuous learning.
Excellent communication skills, with an ability to convey complex accessibility principles.
Passion for creating inclusive and accessible user experiences.
Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility.
Attention to detail and a passion for quality user experiences.
Bilingualism (French and English)
- Necessary to interact regularly with colleagues across the country (only required for candidates in Québec)
Available for 20-35 hours per week from May 4 to August 21

Must be an active student during your internship and returning to school in Fall 2026 following your internship.
