NOVIPRO, a consulting firm specializing in technology services and strategic talent acquisition, has been mandated by a specialized technology-sector organization to recruit a Senior System and Network Administrator. The company offers infrastructure and managed services to clients across Canada, notably in the industrial and energy sectors.

- Act as a senior technical resource and coordinate the work of two system administrators
- Manage, maintain, and enhance LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and network security components
- Oversee Windows-based infrastructure, VMware environments, and enterprise backup systems (Veeam)
- Supervise cloud-hosted environments (OVHcloud): clusters, logs, risks, and server monitoring
- Lead infrastructure-related initiatives: upgrades, deployments, performance tuning
- Plan and execute OS and firmware patching
- Analyze system performance and propose optimizations
- Provide Level 2–3 support internally and externally, acting as escalation point
- Maintain technical documentation (configurations, topologies, procedures)
- Support onboarding of client environments: user provisioning, workstation setup, access and printing
- Oversee backup and DR tasks, and ensure ERP-related updates to client systems
- Contribute to internal IT operations: virtual machines, office IT, and security updates
- Windows Server (2012 to 2025)
- VMware ESXi 8
- Veeam Backup & Replication
- Cisco Meraki, Cisco Umbrella, Duo Security
- Fortinet Forti Gate firewalls
- OVHcloud (infrastructure and monitoring)
- Amazon S3
- Private networking via Bell
- In-depth understanding of VPNs and dynamic routing
- Advanced hands‑on experience with Fortinet (Forti Gate) and Cisco networking
- Solid background in physical and logical LAN/WAN design
- Proficiency with enterprise backup and storage (Veeam, NAS/SAN)
- Skilled in Windows Server environments and virtualization
- Ability to produce clear and comprehensive technical documentation
- Fortinet, Cisco, or Microsoft certifications are considered strong assets
