    Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

    About the role

    We are looking for a Senior Human Resources Consultant to join our Quebec Claims HR team.     What you will accomplish with us:

  • Provide coaching and professional human resources advice to specific business groups, considering best practices and trends and ensuring that human resources management decisions and practices comply with legislation and the company's rules and values.

  • Participate in management committees of designated groups, staying constantly informed about human resources management issues.

  • Conduct analyses and recommend strategies and potential solutions to a variety of human resources management problems.

  • Conduct investigations, accompany managers in conflict management and other issues. Strengths and interests in labor relations management.

  • Lead and/or participate in strategic national projects and the deployment of corporate programs and sectoral initiatives.

  • Address complex questions related to human resources management.

  • Develop tools, lead round tables, training workshops, and information sessions for employees and/or managers.

  • Collaborate and work with managers on succession planning, identifying, and developing talent.

  • Contribute to the improvement of HR processes and collaborate with all members of the national HR Claims team, on various types of mandates.

  • Make salary recommendations based on best compensation practices.

  • Conduct needs analyses and assists managers in establishing and classifying positions and workforce planning.

  • What you will bring to the table:

  • University degree in Industrial Relations or Human Resources Management or a combination of education and relevant experience.

  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience as a HR Business Partner or generalist in human resources in a non-unionized environment.

  • CHRP and/or CHRL designation.

  • Experience and interest in labor relations management.

  • Ability to thrive in a multisite, matrix organization, and a constantly evolving environment.

  • Strong communication skills, substantial influencing capacity, and ease in building relationships at all hierarchical levels.

  • Strong planning and project management skills, rigorous, analytical, and synthesizing mind.

  • Pragmatism and strategic thinking to solve operational and/or highly complex problems.

  • Solid knowledge in all areas of human resources, including performance management and labor relations, disability management, change management, engagement, compensation, organizational development, and talent management.

  • Bilingualism (French and English) in both oral and written communication. Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country

  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
