Job description :

Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle for blue-collar and white-collar positions in Canada and the US.
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers and provide regular updates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Prepare and post job descriptions in both French and English on various recruitment platforms.
  • Implement attraction strategies to identify top talent for each role.
  • Conduct phone screenings and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
  • Provide an excellent candidate experience by answering questions and ensuring timely follow-ups.
  • Perform reference and background checks.
  • Source candidates for complex roles and build a talent pipeline for future needs.
  • Represent the organization at job fairs and recruitment events.
  • Identify the best job boards based on recruitment needs.
  • Collaborate with recruitment agencies when required.
  • Create recruitment visuals (e.g., 'We’re hiring' images for social media).
  • Oversee the collection of onboarding documents.
  • Work with HR team members and hiring managers to continuously improve recruitment practices.

  • Skills and qualifications :

  • Certificate or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Fully bilingual;
    French and English required.
  • Minimum 3 years of recruitment experience.
  • Experience in high-paced, high-volume recruitment; essential.
  • Agency recruitment experience (asset).
  • Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; self-motivated and creative.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize.
  • Ability to adapt to learning new software.
