YOUR MISSIONReporting to the HR Team Lead, your main responsibility will be to provide HR advisory services to the teams assigned to you, covering all aspects of human resources management. You will be advising approximately 150 employees and about 10 managers at various levels, supporting them in areas such as work organization, onboarding and integration, skills development, employee relations, performance management, as well as compensation and benefits.

You will also contribute to the development and implementation of various HR policies. Your strong ethics and exceptional interpersonal skills will be key in helping maintain the company’s creative and human-centered culture. Taking into account broader challenges, you will contribute to the strategic mission of Moment Factory, specifically in achieving business goals, talent planning, development, and retention.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide guidance and support to managers in human resources management, including performance management, compensation, disciplinary actions, terminations, compliance with labor laws, regulations, and other HR-related matters;
  • Interpret and administer HR policies, standards, and procedures to ensure alignment with the company’s vision, mission, and values, as well as compliance with legal requirements;
  • Offer strategic advice on resource needs and collaborate with a talent acquisition specialist on staffing-related matters;
  • Support the international mobility advisor with immigration cases for current and future employees;
  • Assist with onboarding and integration of new employees;
  • Write and update HR policies as needed;
  • Actively participate in the planning and coordination of the performance management process and annual salary reviews;
  • Contribute to workplace health and safety initiatives;
  • Monitor and assess the work climate and employee relations at the Montreal studio;
  • Respond to routine inquiries from managers and employees;
  • Participate in global HR projects in collaboration with the HR team and other departments at Moment Factory.
  • YOUR JOURNEY INCLUDES

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field;
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR generalist;
  • Experience in the visual effects industry (films, advertising, etc.) and technology is a significant asset;
  • Advanced proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written (you will regularly communicate with English-speaking colleagues in this role);
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Keynote, etc.) and Google Suite.
