Develops and executes on recruiting objectives, with a strong emphasis on the identification of qualified candidates aligned to our core competencies. Partners with hiring managers and HR Business Partners (hybrid schedule with in-person and remote collaboration) to deliver well-matched and diverse pools of candidates in a timely manner. Works diligently to create a best in class candidate experience and to provide local market research to keep business leaders informed of trends to secure top talent.
Key responsibilities:
Works closely with hiring managers and business leaders to define selection process and arrange interviews.
Establishes, cultivates, and maintains ongoing relationships with hiring managers in order to understand the business unit and its recruitment needs within the context of their mission.
Develops recruitment plans based on department needs that is clearly defined and demonstrates a commitment to finding talent that’s aligned to the Grifols core competencies and values.
Develops and maintains a strong rapport with key leaders in the department. Attends departmental staff and other meetings as requested to acquire knowledge about the department's business objectives, goals, operations and work culture.
Executes recruitment plans by aggressively recruiting for well-qualified candidates from a variety of sources, including passive recruiting. Manages the selection process to include sourcing talent, interviewing, assessing candidates, screening, recommending finalists that align with our core competencies, and filling the staffing needs within the defined service and performance criteria for center level openings.
Uses STAR behavioral interview techniques to assess talent based on Grifols core behaviors.
Works closely with all areas of HR Department to facilitate effective HR relationships.
Partners with employer branding and leadership to promote Grifols and our values at a variety of recruitment functions including, but not limited to: job fairs, university and college career days, and career events targeted for special populations.
Partners with the hiring manager and when needed HRBP on job offers, so there is consistency with compensation practices and internal equity.
Provides guidance to hiring managers on recruitment process and interview techniques.
Stays up to date and ensures that the recruitment processes in place are compliant with provincial and Canadian regulations. Conducts targeted outreach when necessary and educates hiring managers on recruitment regulation practices and principles.
Routinely updates and maintains accurate data/records within SAP Success Factors ATS.
When needed, works on recruitment and/or cross-functional projects or teams.
Passively sources candidates through Linked In, cold calling, networking through industry contracts, association memberships, trade group, social media and hiring managers and employee referrals
Conducts regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
Routinely participates in department projects as the subject matter expert for Talent Acquisition in the local region.
Creates an outstanding candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. Occasionally reviews new hire onboarding practices and candidate journey to provide continuous improvement suggestions and process improvements.
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Psychology or related field
Typically requires at least 5 years of recruiting experience. Previous experience in manufacturing or pharmaceutical recruiting is highly desirable
Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, documentation, and interpersonal skills
Excellent PC skills, especially with MS O365
Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills, including the ability to perform root cause analysis
Ability to work independently or in a team and to handle deadline-driven tasks in a dynamic environment
Excellent attention to detail.
Proficiency in both English and French is required
