We are therefore looking for caring people to complement our team.

• Answer calls from the head office;
• Answer calls for decease and inform the managers;
• Dispatch transportation;
• Schedule the funeral staff (Funeral Managers, Drivers and Pallbearers);
• Follow-up on unclaimed deceases (curatorship or others);
• Follow-up on air transports;
• Perform various clerical tasks;
• Work closely with other dispatchers;
• Replace the operator occasionally;
• Other related duties.

• Supernumerary position;
• Availability to work minimum eight (8) shifts over fourteen (14) days, including every other weekend (day and night) and when needed, as per Clause 23.00.5 of the collective agreement;
• Availability to work night shifts occasionally;
• Hourly rate of $27,77, as per collective agreement.

• High school diploma (DES);
• Good geographical knowledge of Montreal, Metropolitan Montreal and suburbs;

• Show good communication skills with grieving families;
• Ability to deliver under pressure;
• Ability to make decisions;
• Show good judgment;
• Demonstrate resourcefulness and initiative;
• Knowledge of the funeral industry (an asset);
• Basic knowledge of a switchboard (an asset).
