We are searching for a Senior Accountant to lead our Canadian operations
!
How you’ll make a difference:
Lead and manage monthly close activities for the Canadian market, including reconciliations, financial analysis, and reviews.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop the annual Canadian market budget
, providing key insights to influence financial outcomes.Support and oversee the Canadian finance team with analysis and other accounting-related activities.Lead implementation and upgrades of financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Design, implement, and monitor internal controls to ensure compliance with Canadian accounting regulations.Drive continuous improvement by identifying areas for enhancement and spearheading process optimization.How you will win:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
, and a CPA (Canada) designation is a strong plus.3+ years of relevant experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably in a Canadian context
.Deep understanding of Canadian tax regulations and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Bilingualism (English/French) is a plus.Experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems is an asset.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis.Here at Specialized, we believe that bikes have the power to change lives.
