Manage a team of cross-functional members focusing on specific tasksMonitor functional departments and partner activitiesHelp define and maintain a governance calendar and ensure Program milestones are achieved within budgetIdentify key Program issues and provide the necessary planning and leadership to resolve these issuesParticipate in program reviews with partners to assess program progress, program risk and ensure that commitments are being achievedPrepare and present regular program updates for senior managementInitiate/lead special case studies (i.e., financial impacts, projections, scheduling, etc.)Manage closure of major issues and document lessons learnedProvide general direction for program setting prioritiesChallenge and initiate design reviews to ensure program objectives are met within budgetLead the development of statement of work for the projectValidate key assumptions & constraints and manage risk items, with corresponding risk mitigation/reduction strategiesDevelop and implement control mechanisms to capture costs (labor, material and ODC) and monitor program performanceEstablish program schedule and develop strategy for implementation planDevelop tools for tracking of deliverables and progress of activitiesWork in a multi-functional environment in which you interact with all levels of managementHow to thrive in this role?
You hold a university degree in Engineering or Business Administration, with at least 5 years of experienceYou have over 3 years’ experience in program or project managementYou have strong leadership qualities with cross functional skillsYou are able to influence at different levels of the organizationYou have in-depth knowledge of aircraft development and productionYou have excellent interpersonal, leadership and communication skillsYou can coordinate and lead effective meetings and presentationsYou are computer literate, particularly in MS Office suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Project) and TEAMS, with knowledge of data base management, scheduling, and spreadsheetsYou are pro-active, results oriented and innovative with a strategic vision and a view to business improvementsNow that you can see yourself in this role, apply and join the Bombardier Team!
