Location: BoisbriandMAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and optimize processes surrounding supplier quality management;Approve First Article Inspection (FAI) from suppliers (AS9102);
● Manage FAI deviations and ensure the implementation of effective corrective actions;Analyze and validate dimensional, functional, and documentary reports;Lead DFM (Design For Manufacturability) activities between core engineering and suppliers;Validate the manufacturability of drawings, tolerances, GD&T, and special requirements;Conduct supplier audits;Approve and maintain the qualification of special processes;Evaluate the manufacturing capability of suppliers;Review supplier change requests and coordinate with engineering and purchasing to assess impacts;Participate in design reviews (NPI, ECO, revision changes);Identify technical risks and propose solutions upstream;Ensure coordination of inspection activities between the quality control team and suppliers.POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or related field) and a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role;Technical knowledge to understand technical drawings of molded, machined, electronic parts, etc.;Knowledge of sampling methods and control plans;Knowledge of statistics, particularly methods for defining process capability (Cpk, Ppk), control charts, and repeatability and reproducibility analyses (gauge R&R);
- Bilingualism (French/English);Available for supplier visits (between 5 and 10%) (CAN/US);Experience in continuous improvement;Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.ASSETS
Knowledge of risk analysis methods (FMEA, FTA);Knowledge of IPC-A-600, IPC-A-610;Knowledge of ISO-13485 and 21 CFR 820 standards;Understanding of CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) operation.WHAT WE OFFER
