Location: Boisbriand

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and optimize processes surrounding supplier quality management;

Approve First Article Inspection (FAI) from suppliers (AS9102);
● Manage FAI deviations and ensure the implementation of effective corrective actions;

Analyze and validate dimensional, functional, and documentary reports;

Lead DFM (Design For Manufacturability) activities between core engineering and suppliers;

Validate the manufacturability of drawings, tolerances, GD&T, and special requirements;

Conduct supplier audits;

Approve and maintain the qualification of special processes;

Evaluate the manufacturing capability of suppliers;

Review supplier change requests and coordinate with engineering and purchasing to assess impacts;

Participate in design reviews (NPI, ECO, revision changes);

Identify technical risks and propose solutions upstream;

Ensure coordination of inspection activities between the quality control team and suppliers.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or related field) and a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role;

Technical knowledge to understand technical drawings of molded, machined, electronic parts, etc.;

Knowledge of sampling methods and control plans;

Knowledge of statistics, particularly methods for defining process capability (Cpk, Ppk), control charts, and repeatability and reproducibility analyses (gauge R&R);

- Bilingualism (French/English);

Available for supplier visits (between 5 and 10%) (CAN/US);

Experience in continuous improvement;

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.

ASSETS

Knowledge of risk analysis methods (FMEA, FTA);

Knowledge of IPC-A-600, IPC-A-610;

Knowledge of ISO-13485 and 21 CFR 820 standards;

Understanding of CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) operation.
