Safran Landing Systems is a subsidiary of Safran Landing Systems, a global leader in landing and braking systems for aircraft. The Mirabel plant is dedicated to the manufacturing of major components for landing gear for Airbus A320, A330, and A350 models, as well as the Boeing 787. It features state-of-the-art equipment for machining, polishing, and special processes, including heat treatment, shot peening, and surface treatments.

The Performance Improvement Coach "Black Belt" is responsible for assisting the site management team in implementing improvement actions identified within the DOPA process or as needed throughout the year.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Frame projects with sponsors

• Establish the project governance structure

• Implement ambitious improvement projects using methods
such as Lean Sigma (DMAIC, DMADV, KAIZEN), VSM, One Safran, Lean
Transformation, TPM, DIAG

• Lead projects by integrating change management and engaging
project stakeholders

• Contribute to the development of tools and improvement approaches (QRQC,
Participative Innovation, One Safran, …) and promote these methods,
tools, and approaches within management

• Participate in sharing experiences and best practices within the
Black Belt community

• Support and mentor Green Belts in their projects: from project framing
to their certification

Let's talk about you

• University degree.

• 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in an industrial or manufacturing environment.



Languages:

Proficiency in French and English (Oral & Written)

• Recognized Black Belt certification (Lean Six Sigma).

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

• Ability to mobilize, engage, and unite.

• Mastery of statistical tools (Minitab, Jasp, Power BI, etc.)

• Proficiency in Office suite applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

• Ability to listen, arbitrate, and decide, understand all stakeholders and ensure balance between expectations and objectives.

• Knowledge of OT (Operational Technology) systems would be an asset.

• QRQC Coach certification would be an asset.
