Summary of job description- Review weekly reports, monitor backlog, establish priorities with production dispatchers and receiving inspection team;
- Support the definition of test requirements with customers
- Write functional test procedures for mechanical systems equipment and component testing;
- Support the design/fabrication of tooling for component testing;
- Perform the calibration of structural components
- Execute testing initiatives within the laboratory for customers such as Programs, Engineering and Operations.
- Generate and review reports for lab customers
- Support the troubleshooting of component issues on the assembly line as well as with suppliers.
- College degree in mechanical engineering
- Task related university courses are an asset
- Minimum one year (1) of pertinent experience preferably in a mechanical / aviation technology laboratory environment
- Experience in mechanical systems testing and flight systems integration
- Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electro-mechanical systems and applications
- Knowledge of design and testing software applications:
Labview, Veristand, Catia, Enovia - Knowledge of flight testing instrumentation and data acquisition systems
- Working knowledge of English. Given the need to speak and interact periodically with the various Francophone units of the Canadian Forces, a working knowledge of the French language is highly desirable.
Any other combination of schooling and experience deemed equivalent may be considered.

Sommaire des responsabilités- Réviser les rapports hebdomadaires et d’accumulation de travail, établir les priorités avec la production et l’équipe d’inspection à la réception;
- Supporter nos clients avec leur définition des exigences d’essais
- Écrire des procédures de test fonctionnels pour l'équipement des systèmes mécaniques;
- Soutenir le design et fabrication de l’outillage requis pour les essais sur des composantes d’aéronefs
- Responsable de la calibration sur des composantes structurelles
- Effectuer les essais au sein du laboratoire pour des clients tel que les Programmes, l’Ingénierie, et les Opérations.
- Générer et réviser des rapports pour les clients du laboratoire
- Soutenir l’investigation et la résolution des problèmes sur des composantes au niveau de la chaine de montage ainsi qu’avec les fournisseurs.
- D.E.C. en génie mécanique
- Cours universitaires reliés à la tâche un atout
- Minimum un an (1) d'expérience pertinente de préférence dans un milieu de laboratoire en technologie mécanique / avionique
- Expérience en matière d’essais liés au domaine mécanique et d’intégration de systèmes de vols
