- Work with suppliers on projects related to mechanical systems components on the Global 5500/6500/7500/8000 (Periphery, Cabinets, Window Shades, Water & Waste, Oxygen, ECS, Tables and Door mechanisms, Seats and Divan, Insulation, etc.).
- Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Projects, Programs, Procurement, Technical, etc.) as well as suppliers for problem solving.
- Negotiate interfaces with other systems/structures and formalize the agreement on Interface Control Drawings (ICD).
- Support Program Change Requests (PCR). Coordinate technical integration meetings, analyze, and define technical proposals to meet customer and operation needs.
- Lead technical meetings with suppliers and deliver quality engineering documentation that meets Bombardier Standards.
- Chair design reviews and ensure compliance with master regulatory and industry requirements.
- Ensure system components meet technical and certification requirements.
- Act as a technical leader and transfer knowledge through coaching/mentoring within the team.
- You have a college or University mechanical or aerospace engineering degree or equivalent with more than ten (10) years of relevant experience.
- Experience with aircraft interiors and knowledge of Global Aircrafts and Mechanical Systems Integration is an asset.
- Solid experience with Enovia/Catia and Teamcenter/NX (GSD, Assy, Part Body, Drafting, etc.).
- Understanding of product structure and aircraft certification.
- Ability to understand complex engineering issues and demonstrate innovative problem solving.
- Well organized and project-oriented; self-motivated, able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Good communication skills, including English writing and verbal skills;
French is an asset. - Proven track record of meeting commitments.
