As a Cost Controller, you’ll play a critical role in thesuccessful delivery of major engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) projects. Working closely with project managers, planners and clients, you’ll help ensure financial transparency, cost efficiency and control across all project phases.

Develop and maintain cost control systems to monitor budget performance across engineering, procurement and construction workstreamsCollaborate with project teams to establish and manage cost baselines, forecasts and change management processesSupport project estimates, cost risk analysis, cash flow modelling and financial reportingTrack actual vs. budgeted costs, identify variances and proactively recommend corrective actionsCoordinate with procurement and contract administration to track committed costs and invoice progressProduce periodic cost reports tailored to client and project needs, including earned value management when applicableContribute to the continuous improvement of cost engineering and control practices at BBADo your qualities and values match our corporate culture?

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance or a related fieldMore than five years of relevant experience in cost control on EPCM or capital projectsSolid knowledge of project control principles, project life cycles and industry best practicesProficiency in cost-control software and tools (, Excel, Prism, Eco Sys, SAP or similar)Strong analytical, organizational and communication skillsBilingual (French/English)Asset: experience carrying out these functions on projects in the mining, energy or heavy industry sectorsAsset: experience carrying out these functions on international projectsAn overview of BBA’s total rewards
