Endress+Hauser Canada was founded on May 1st, 1990. The company's main office is in Burlington, Ontario and additional offices are in Montreal, Quebec, Calgary & Edmonton, Alberta. Our Channel Partners and Authorized Service Partners provide coverage and support across Canada.

We are looking for an Industry Support Specialist to join our group. You will support the Municipal water/wastewater industry teams across Canada, from specification to the bill of materials (BOM) conversion through project close out. This role will liaise with other stakeholders as needed to complete work and provide support to the Municipal water/wastewater selling process. A strong relationship builder with strong organizational and bidirectional communication abilities.

Are you a natural relationship builder who thrives on collaboration? You’ll work closely with municipal water/wastewater teams and multiple stakeholders to ensure projects run smoothly from start to finish.

Do you have the organizational skills to juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment? This role requires balancing specifications, BOM conversions, and project close-outs while maintaining accuracy and deadlines.

Are you confident in your ability to communicate clearly and proactively across different teams?

Strong bidirectional communication is key to supporting the selling process and fostering trust with internal and external partners.

Which tasks will you perform?

  • Triages incoming specifications and bid requests as well as assessing for staggered deliveries to ensure handled within the correct Process workflow stream.
  • Communicates directly with the customer, prior to quotation stage, for tender qualifications or clarifications, as well as obtains approval to offer E+H alternates where competitors have been listed on
  • Creates quotable bill of materials (BOM) from specifications (including drawings) and BOM for 3rd party materials.
  • Conducts commercial review and approval according to our processes, including 3rd party assessment.
  • Identifies technical, contractual and other project risks and appropriate risk responses in acquisition as well as execution phases of projects.
  • Creates and sends quotes to all requesting contractors by the required deadline when support is required.
  • Fosters customer satisfaction and enhances customer relationships as the main point of contact during the project execution phase.
  • Support review of shop drawings as required.
  • May need to liaise with our Projects team and Global Tendering Team where required.
  • Liaise with Solutions team when there is a solution involved in the tender or specifications.
  • Create and maintain templates and tools to streamline workflows and manage customer specific templates.
  • Provides clear and concise communications to customers, and key stakeholders according to the specific project requirements and expectations including proactive identification of deviations.
  • Supports companywide continuous improvement processes including complaint management, Kaizen, ISO audits and internal Process Improvement Workshops.
  • What do we expect from you?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or diploma in Instrumentation, technology or related work experience
  • Demonstrable project management experience in a technical environment
  • PMP certification would be an asset
  • Salesforce and ERP such as SAP experience would be an asset
  • Strong experience in and understanding of the Municipal water/wastewater industry and tendering process…
