Junior Candidate Salary Range: 50,/annum

Intermediate Candidate Salary Range: 65,/annum

Insight Global is seeking Junior and Intermediate Technicians to join a major Canadian space company. Technicians will be responsible for performing various tasks related to established systems or new tasks of medium complexity. Technicians will work from written guidelines or general instructions and participate in testing complex production units and systems.

Responsibilities / Tasks:

• Assemble and modify mock-ups and models based on specific instructions or under technical supervision of more experienced technicians or technical staff.
• Perform assembly, modifications, and verification of equipment test benches.
• Conduct tests, alignment, and calibration of intermediate-complexity production units and systems.
• Record data related to test or experiment results. Prepare reports and may make recommendations within assigned tasks.
• Monitor and test units in thermal or vacuum chambers.
• Follow and understand flight test processes.
• Perform work in accordance with internal procedures and comply with health and safety regulations.
• Able to search for documents and parts using MDA electronic tools (WebPLM, Infor
  
  LN, etc.).
• Perform other related tasks.

Minimum Qualifications:

• College diploma (DEC) or equivalent in mechanical engineering, electromechanics, electrical engineering, electronics, or a related field depending on assignment
• 0 to 2 years of relevant experience (junior technicians) 3+ years of relevant experience (intermediate) and knowledge depending on assignment
• Proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken
