This job posting is for an existing, active vacancy and We are looking to hire Manufacturing Automation Engineer immediately who has experience in design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge automation solutions along with Aerospace industry experience.
Role OverviewLooking for candidates who can support in establishing greenfield project - highly automated manufacturing facility. A skilled and innovative Manufacturing Automation Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge automation solutions from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities- Study the current manufacturing line in collaboration with an industrial engineers, Manufacturing & Quality team and support in developing current layout and process details.
- Participate and Coordinate with Cross Functional team for the USR/ proposal request development.
- Coordinate with Contract Manufacturers for Business case proposals and preliminary assessments.
- Plan, monitor and Manage automation projects from concept to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time.
- Support / Coordinate the integration of various automation components, sensors, actuators, and industrial networks to create a seamless and efficient manufacturing process.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to analyze manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements from the initial design phase.
- Oversee the installation, testing, commissioning, and start‑up of new automated equipment and systems in the greenfield site.
- Collaborate with compliance team to ensure all automation solutions comply with safety standards, industry regulations, and company quality requirements.
- Consistent reporting to the leadership and CFT on status of each project with challengers and risk mitigation plans.
Skills and Qualifications
- Graduation required.
- Should have 7+ years of experience in Aerospace industry.
- Strong analytical and creative problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
- Adaptability and a commitment to continuous learning to keep up with new technologies.
The pay range for this role is CAD $80,000 - CAD $110,000 per annum including any bonuses or variable pay.
