B. Pearson School Board is one of the largest English-language school boards in Quebec. It serves over 19,000 students in the youth sector, as well as 6,000 students in the adult education and vocational training sectors. To support this robust network, the LBPSB employs over 5,000 people in a variety of positions.

Our territory stretches from Verdun in the east to the Ontario border in the west. This vast network includes 36 elementary schools, 10 secondary schools, 2 adult education centers and 6 vocational training centers.

All LBPSB elementary schools offer bilingual or French immersion programs, enabling students to develop their language skills while following the curriculum.

We are in the process of building a list of teachers available to meet the needs of our students. Substituting is often the first step towards securing a contract with our school board.

We are accepting applications from qualified candidates with a Brevet or a valid teaching permit or those that hold a qualifying degree in Education.

Students enrolled in their 4th year of a qualifying Bachelor's degree program in Education, or those enrolled in a qualifying Master's degree program in Education can also apply.

If you have teaching experience, or have a teaching license, ensure that this is clearly indicated on your CV.

Salary scale for casual supply teachers (+4% vac.):

• $52.79: (for non-legally qualified teachers)
• $61.60: (for legally qualified teachers)

This remuneration corresponds to an assigned 60-minute substitution period and is adjusted proportionally to the duration of the workload.

$52,799 - $102,857 based on experience and educational qualifications.

Legally qualified teachers are those who hold a valid Brevet or teaching permit in Quebec.
