has the following anticipated vacancies for the Winter 2026 semester. WE WILL BE HIRING EXTERNALLY FOR THIS POSITION.

PROFESSIONAL THEATRE AND THEATRE ARTS (560/561) (02 PRODUCTION)

Part-time contract representing full and/or part-time workload.

• Theatre Workshop:
  Creation (set construction component) 560-TSA-AB (1 section)
• Theatre Workshop:
  Show (set construction component) 560-TSB-AB (1 section)
• Theatre Lab 2 (set construction component) 561-A6T-AB (1 section)

PROFESSIONAL THEATRE (561) AND THEATRE ARTS (560)

• Bachelor’s or equivalent
  * degree in Theatre Arts

OR

• Diploma from a Conservatory School or post-secondary theatre program with extensive and specialized experience

OR

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field may be considered
• Minimum of 3 years directly related experience in the profession
• Demonstrated knowledge of the particular subject (s) to be taught
• Ability to teach in other theatre areas an asset
• Several years related teaching experience at the post-secondary level preferred
• Ability to collaborate within a departmental team to achieve common objectives
• Excellent English communication skills essential
• Bilingualism (English/French) and ability to teach in French are preferred, as in the context of Bill 96 and the changes to the Charte de la langue française, if there is a need, the candidate must be willing and able to teach in French.
• Equivalent establishes a general comparison between two official education systems
