Reporting to the Manager, B2B Sales, the Account Manager – Distribution and Reseller Segment will focus on managing our distribution channel and mid‑level reseller partners while identifying and qualifying potential resellers that can be moved to the hypergrowth segment. You will own and execute the distribution and specific mid‑level reseller grouping strategy, ensuring monthly forecast targets and key KPIs are met.
The role requires strong communication skills to relay insights and key learnings to the business, along with the ability to plan, adapt, and drive quarterly and monthly business cycles.
- Develop tactical plans to identify growth opportunities within reseller and distribution accounts.
- Manage business relationships with key stakeholders, including vendor managers, buyers, marketing managers, business owners, and decision makers.
- Drive end‑user sales by owning and executing high‑level strategy for grouping of high‑potential resellers within our existing partner base.
- Deliver and achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets and KPIs for channel partners.
- Ensure consistent monthly communication on the distribution segment to the executive level.
- Handle account escalations, finding effective solutions autonomously while keeping internal stakeholders informed and adhering to Brother’s high‑level initiatives.
- Coordinate and lead interdepartmental meetings to support strategic initiatives.
- Provide regular updates on account activities, opportunities, and impacts on the business.
- Collaborate with Brother US counterparts around North American special pricing opportunities.
- Track and manage market development funds.
- University or college degree in business or related field (an asset).
- 3–5 years in channel account management with proven success in achieving KPIs and driving strategy.
- Strong understanding of IT channel account management planning and business development process.
- Knowledge of distribution channel.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Results‑driven with a commitment to quality and innovation.
- Market intelligence experience in monitoring market shifts and adjusting account plans accordingly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with strong analytical and data‑driven decision‑making skills.
- Critical thinker with a solution‑focused mindset and curiosity to challenge norms.
- Willing to travel up to 20 %.
- Bilingual. Proficiency in both written and verbal English communication is essential for effective correspondence with clients, suppliers, business partners, and colleagues beyond Quebec.
