Assist in coordinating and preparing applications for Visas, work permits and permanent residence for Canada and the United StatesPrepare translations, affidavits and other legal documentsPrepare various correspondences with governments to respond to inspections and auditsAssist business travelers with their business visa application and registration procedures, when requiredCoordinate the certification, notarization and legalization of required documents with embassies, consulates, bar association; etc.Conduct legal research in the field of immigration law, labor law and related matters and prepare PowerPoint presentationsAssist in drafting legal opinionsAssist in the management of the CIC Employer PortalAssist in managing and updating the database containing all the information related to the expiry date of work permitsEnter data and import documents into the database managing Legal Affairs and Global Mobility files, documents and data, and prepare reportParticipate in corporate governance activities such as tracking changes in immigration laws and regulations that may impact Bombardier; andAssist in coordinating global immigration legal services with our external suppliers.How to thrive in this role?
You are enrolled in the law program of a Canadian or American universityYou are fluent in French and English, both orally and in writing (knowledge of other languages is an asset)You have intercultural skills and international experienceYou have a good sense of organization and strong document management and file management skillsYou have advanced skills in the use of IT toolsYou can easily write letters and review documentsYou are customer orientedYou have the capacity to work on several files at the same timeYou demonstrate a high level of initiative and are autonomousYou have an eye for detail; andYou have a desire to learn new things.
