Job Description
PUR RH is currently supporting a well-established Montreal company in the search for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join its finance team.
This is a newly created position within a stable organization that has been operating for over 30 years. The company is growing and expanding its accounting team to support this development.
This role is ideal for someone with accounts payable experience who enjoys structured work and a collaborative environment. You will be responsible for processing invoices and working closely with internal teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices and ensure accuracy and approvals

• Handle a high volume of invoices

• Prepare and process supplier payments

• Perform account reconciliations and follow up on discrepancies

• Maintain supplier records and payment information

• Communicate with suppliers regarding invoices and payments

• Collaborate with purchasing and receiving teams

• Work with both electronic and paper-based invoices
Profile Sought

• Experience in accounts payable (minimum 2 years preferred)

• Experience with high-volume accounts payable considered an asset

• Functional French and English

• Organized and reliable
