Full time, hourly position based at the Montpelier DC responsible for booking,scheduling and reporting on NFDM, WPC,and DPS powder.

Liaison between transportation team and the export team to schedule,coordinate and collaboratedomesticand exportlogisticswith company staff andthird-party haulers and freight forwarders.

Coordinates with all departments todevelop SOP’s and transportation policies to streamline processes andoperateefficiently.

This individual will be cross- trained for coverage of all positions and primary back up for invoice processing and discrepancies.

Interacts with internal fleet during morning call-ins andassistswith driver questions and concerns.

Primary trainer for all dispatch position sand updates SOP’s periodically and as needed.

Trains Agri-Mark warehouse staff and third-party carriers on the correct procedures and best practices forthe

Nextrackonline scheduler.

Follows up with non-compliant carriers and office staffto ensure all procedures are being followed per company requirement sand that they are up to date on safetytrainings.

Manages 5,000 emails weekly and fields an average of 30 phone calls a day.

This position will alsoassistin all CPU scheduling and other duties as assigned.

Starting pay rate is anticipated to be between $22-$25 an hour.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Schedules NFDM customer pickup requests for multiple warehouses
  • Arranges domestic powder freight
  • Finalizes and schedules NFDM title transfers
  • Negotiatescompetitiveperiodic pricing on drayage freight with freight brokers
  • Coordinates drayage for freight to the portto ensure on time delivery for port cuts
  • Fields driver calls throughout the day
  • Coordinatesdirectdelivery of butter out of West Springfield warehouse
  • Builds relationships with customers and warehouses to create scheduling efficiencies
  • Works with Milk Powder team to coordinate storage and fresh order logistics
  • Works with customers to ensure inventory is pulled from the correct account in our system
  • Closes out title transfer and schedules as requested by Dairy America customers
  • Works with West Springfield to coordinateadditionallabor as needed for container shipments
  • Works with CRR to request date changes for customer butter deliveries
  • Utilizes Samsara GPS toassistwith driver call ins and reporting
  • Dispatches and schedules temper releases
  • Looks for butter process improvements and collaborates inter-departmentally
  • Reviews national dispatching to ensure routes are efficiently built
  • Collaborates with CRR and other departments to resolve and improve processes to increase productivity
  • Trains all third parties on Nextrackand its requirements
  • Enforces Nextrackcompliance and scheduling parameters
  • Scoutsnewthird-party haulers to create and negotiate competitive pricing and contracts
  • Sets upnew usersfor NExtrack internal scheduler
  • Monthly reporting on late,cancelled or rescheduled trucks for NFDM
  • Works with warehouses to coordinate laborfor scheduled loading appointments
  • Resolves all billing discrepancies for efficient processing
  • Provides backup coverage to alllogisticspositions
  • Trains the export team on all TMS functions as needed
  • Trains new dispatch employees
  • Assists dispatch employees with issues regarding customers, scheduling appointments and driver compliance
  • Trains Agri-Mark Employees and warehouse locations on Nextrack Scheduler
  • Cross-Trained to cover all positions in the office
  • Collaborates andassistswith TMS issues; works with NGL programmers to resolve quickly
  • Other Duties as assigned
