Day Shift Security Officer

Full-Time Security Officer – Pay: $25.00/hr –

Schedule:

40 hours/week, Monday through Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm (30 minute unpaid lunch break)

This position is for a temporary detail which will run until May 2026. Once the contract ends, our hiring team will assist you in finding other sites to continue working on a permanent basis.

No Security Experience Required

• Provide excellent customer service with a strong sense of professionalism
• Observe and report in and near the property, identifying and responding to any potential threat or safety hazard
• Conduct hourly foot patrols of the property
• Operate a walk-through metal detector and X-ray baggage scanner
• Conduct screenings with a handheld wand detector

• Highly personable with strong customer service skills – must be comfortable with frequent interactions with the public
• High level of professionalism
• Walking/standing for long periods of time
• VT Guard Card – our hiring team will assist you in applying for this license once hired
• Valid driver's license
• At least 18 years old
