** Exciting Opportunity for an ICU RN!** *
* Job Description:
** - Join a dynamic ICU team focused on exceptional patient care.
- Work a minimum of every other weekend, with scheduling tailored to unit needs and patient care demands.
- Mandatory floating to other units as required.
- Orientation of 2 days to get you acclimated to our unit and workflow.
- Engage in a fast-paced environment with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 2:1 to 3:1.
- Collaborate with dedicated ancillary staff, including CNA/PCT and unit clerks.
- Utilize your skills in EPIC documentation and experience in critical care.
- Manage diverse patients, including those with sepsis, respiratory failure, DKA, and more.
- Participate in advanced procedures, including medication titration, intubation, and trauma response.
- Respond to rapid response and code blue situations across the facility.
- Enjoy the support of CCT available on both day and night shifts.
- Participate in a team that handles transfers from critical access hospitals in the area.
** Requirements:** - Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience.
- Current AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (NIHSS required prior to start).
- EPIC experience from within the past 2 years is nonnegotiable.
- Preferred certifications: CCRN and AHA PALS.
- Complete work history including bed count, EMR, and facility type for submission.
- Reliable transportation is essential, as public transport is not accessible in this area.
