** RN for ICU Team

* Schedule:
** Full-time commitment with a minimum of every other weekend
- ** Flexibility:
** Schedule may be adjusted to meet unit and patient care needs
- ** Floating Requirement:
** Required to float to Med Surg or care for ICU level patients boarding in the ER
- ** Orientation:
** 2 days of specialized training

- ** Experience
Required:
** Minimum of 1 year nursing experience in ICU; 3 years of total clinical experience

* Certifications:

- Required:
AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIHSS (must be completed prior to start) - Preferred: CCRN, AHA PALS
- ** Technical
Skills:
** EPIC experience within the past 2 years
- ** Additional Notes:
** Ensure employment gaps over 90 days are explained
** Unit Highlights:**
- ** Unit:
** ICU with 14 beds
- ** Patient Ratio:
** 2:1 or 3:1 (day/night shifts)
- ** Support Staff:
** CNA/PCT and unit clerk available
- ** Patient Population:
** Adults (18+), including cases such as sepsis, respiratory failure, DKA, ETOH withdrawal, and more
- ** Advanced Support:
** Respiratory therapy and anesthesia available 24/7

Specific Duties :** - Medication titration and administration - Assisting with intensive procedures: intubation, extubation, and more - Managing central and PICC lines - Providing post-mortem care and chest tube management
