Position Overview

We are seeking a talented individual to join Life & Annuity Compliance and grow their expertise in fixed insurance regulations. The role is part of the Regulatory & Risk Guidance (R&RG) team and involves advanced analytical and problem‑solving techniques when reviewing and interpreting regulations, responding to regulatory report filings, and handling customer privacy requests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Use business understanding and subject matter knowledge to creatively resolve regulation matters, regulatory report filings, and customer privacy requests that vary in complexity.
  • Execution – 75%
  • Tactical – 25%
  • Demonstrate full understanding of R&RG processes and apply subject‑matter expertise to complete assigned deliverables within time standards.
  • Independently complete tasks in alignment with policies and procedures with work reviewed by management or senior colleagues at critical points.
  • Strengthen relationships with senior internal and external peers, including regulators.
  • Apply judgment in alignment with policies and procedures when assessing unusual circumstances, identifying causes, and suggesting innovative approaches.
  • Devise solutions with limited information, adapting existing approaches effectively.
  • Fully integrate NLG values and Servant Leadership Tenets into daily work and serve as a model for junior colleagues.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of progressive compliance and/or life insurance and annuity experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional customer service through empathy, listening, and understanding client needs.
  • Ability to understand and independently communicate general compliance topics.
  • Demonstrated tact and professionalism and ability to interact with individuals and leaders at all levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality on sensitive matters.
  • Strong organizational, time‑management, qualitative, and analytical skills.
  • Design and align individual goals to support annual goals and initiatives.
  • Effective teamwork and collaboration with business partners.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of compliance‑related experience.
  • Pursuit of LOMA certifications.
  • Comprehensive product knowledge of fixed life insurance and annuities.

Compensation

Base Pay Range: $70,875 - $103,950 USD. The final salary may be outside this range based on experience and other factors.

Additional Compensation and Benefits: The total compensation package may include medical, financial, and other benefits, 401(k), paid time off, etc. Eligible for discretionary annual incentive programs.
