Centrally located on Interstate 94 less than 25 miles northwest of Maple Grove and 30 miles southeast of Saint Cloud, Monticello is home to five brick and mortar schools and two nature-based facilities serving more than 4,000 students annually. Monticello consistently ranks in the top 50 school districts in the state as measured by a number of organizations and metrics, and performs above the state average in graduation rates, test scores, and early college opportunities.

Long Term Substitute / Temporary Custodial Opportunity with Monticello Schools. This position is located at the Eastview Education Center with the hours of 5:00am - 1:30pm Monday - Friday. Available through June 4, 2026 (end date).

The Duties Of Our Custodial Staff Will Include

General cleaning and maintenance striving to keep facilities and grounds in good repair.

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

• Considerable ability to follow oral and written instruction, to complete daily activities according to work schedule
• Prioritize work and perform duties independently
• Driven to meet needs with a positive attitude and in a timely manner
• Effective communication and teaming skills
• Knowledge of computer and standard applications
• Willingness to be flexible and excellent attendance
• Maintain confidentiality of information about students
• Experience working with diverse students and families
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift 75 - 100 pounds

$20.65 - $26.42 per the current Custodial Master Agreement

All positions within the Custodial & Maintenance unit are eligible to elect and/or be delegated intermittent overtime assignments.
