Banquet Server

Position Summary:

Banquet Server responsibilities include serving food and beverages, helping prepare and clean up the space once the affair is complete. Will provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire event process to ensure the highest standard of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for sanitation in and around the bar area.
• Read and understand all particulars of Banquet Event, including start time and food/beverage requirements.
• Work effectively and efficiently with the banquet team
• Own It by expediently communicate any challenges, guest complaints or requests to the Banquet Captain.
• Respond to the Banquet Captain's instructions and directions.
• Observe all safety procedures during the execution of assigned duties.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards guests, co-workers, and management through Spirit.
• Arrive at the scheduled start time in appropriate uniform and ready to work to show Respect.
• Uniform must be neat and pressed.
• Always keeps workstation clean.
• Report to Banquet Captain before ending work shift.
• Assist with the complete setup and breakdown of the banquet area.
• Relay food and beverage orders.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and awareness of sanitary practices using the core value Excellence
• Anticipate guests' needs and exceed customer service expectations through Excellence
• Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment using Courage
• Respond urgently and appropriately to any concerns.
• Present professional appearance and mannerisms.
• Relay important information, Own It, about orders, allergies, and special requests to the appropriate person.
• Own It by checking IDs of all customers consuming alcoholic beverages that appear to be 30 years old and younger and ensure alcohol is served responsibility and according to all laws.
• Other duties as assigned.

401k Information:

You will be eligible to begin contributing to a 401(k) on the first of the month following your first 90 days of service and if you meet the minimum hours criteria. The minimum criteria for employee eligibility are
1) employees must be 21 years of age or older and
2) must work 250 hours in 90 days or an average of 1,000 hours in one year. Triple Shift Entertainment will match qualified 401(k) contributions as follows: $1 for $1 for the first 3% and $0.50 for $1 on the next 2% on what employee contributes to their 401(k) and you are considered fully vested immediately.
