Responsibilities- Family Communication Champion: Be the go-to clinical contact for families, ensuring proactive and open communication that fosters trust and collaboration.
- Therapy Facilitator Extraordinaire: Lead dynamic individual, family, and group therapy sessions using Newport Healthcare’s innovative clinical model and Attachment-Based Family Therapy techniques.
- Crisis Management Specialist: Conduct risk or crisis assessments and provide timely interventions and management as needed, ensuring our clients feel supported and safe.
- Team Player: Join weekly treatment team meetings, staff meetings, and clinical supervision sessions to share insights and collaborate with your colleagues.
- Master’s Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field or enrollment in Doctorate program from an accredited or state approved graduate school required.
- MN License in Marriage Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, or Clinicalologist.
- Non‑licensed candidates will be considered for a non‑exempt role and require a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related therapeutic field. If your degree is in a closely related field and you are pursuing an LPCC, you must demonstrate that your education meets the coursework requirements of the license.
- Experience with individual, family, and/or group therapy with young adults/adolescents.
- Experience with mental health, substance abuse, eating disorders, or trauma‑informed treatment preferred.
Compensation for a licensed therapist ranges from $77,000 - $100,000 depending on education, licensure and experience. Non‑licensed therapist compensation ranges from $37-44 an hour.
