Position: Mental Health Coordinator II / Lead Mental Health Specialist

We are hiring a Mental Health Coordinator II (MHC-2) to join our compassionate team. This direct‑care role is ideal for experienced professionals in mental health and behavior management.

Job Details
  • Job Type: Full‑time
  • Schedule:

    Evening shift 2 p.m. – 10 p.m.
  • Location:

    In‑person (within Minnesota)
  • Pay:
    Fixed wage $26 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Assist with personal finances.
  • Plan activities and programs.
  • Support behavioral needs.
  • Encourage family involvement.
  • Oversee education or job programs.
  • Manage health, nutrition, and household upkeep.
  • Create staff schedules.
  • Help supervisor maintain consistent programs and communication.
  • Perform duties of behavioral support staff during direct‑care shifts.
Qualifications

Experience:

  • At least 3 years of behavioral health service experience.
  • Plus either one of the following:
    • 1 year of lead staff experience in residential services.
    • 2‑year degree in a related field.

Education &

Skills:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • At least 2 years of experience in behavioral health.
  • Ability to understand and follow behavior support plans, treatment plans, functional assessments, and individualized person‑centered plans.

Driving Requirement: Must qualify as an unlimited driver; may need to transport individuals in company or personal vehicles.

Communication: Strong reading, writing, and interpersonal skills are essential for documenting care, following plans, and collaborating with coworkers and outside professionals.

Hours Worked
  • Full‑time or part‑time; weekdays, weekends, and holidays as required.
