Teacher - Special Education - Elementary; LTS

Centrally located on Interstate 94 less than 25 miles northwest of Maple Grove and 30 miles southeast of Saint Cloud, Monticello is home to five brick and mortar schools and two nature-based facilities serving more than 4,000 students annually. The Special Education Teacher provides direct and indirect social work services to students experiencing social, emotional and/or behavioral problems that interfere with their performance in school, and facilitates communication among school, home and community providers.

• Current Special education license with the Minnesota Department of Education required

• Experience working with early elementary age (kindergarten) school students

• Effective communication and teaming skills, both verbally and in writing, with students, parents, teachers, administrators, community and staff
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to demonstrate professionalism and ethical practices
• Maintain confidentiality of information about students and families

Salary Range: $44,182 - $90,327 for 1.0

FTE - based on the current Faculty Master Faculty Agreement
