Teacher - Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE), 1.0 FTE, Monticello School District, Eastview Education Center,  School Year

This position works with students with individual needs that meet criteria for special education. This includes small group instruction, work completion assistance, and collaboration with mainstream teachers. The special education teacher will collaborate with other service providers during the day to meet student needs.

• Licensed Special Education Teacher in the State of Minnesota
• Knowledge and experience working with preschool students with special education needs

• Knowledge and experience completing due process paperwork and following timeline requirements of special education
• Knowledge and experience working with preschool and/or kindergarten students
• Must be able to assure and implement state and federal laws, statutes, rules and regulations pertaining to special education
• Team-oriented approach when working with students, colleagues, families, and administrators
• Effective communication and teaming skills, both verbally and in writing, with students, parents, teachers, administrators, community and staff
• Establishes a culture for learning by supporting the mission, beliefs and the strategic plan of the district
• Inspires and engages all students in relevant learning
• Maintains confidentiality of information about students, staff and families
• Experience working with diverse students and families; experience/training with CLR (Culturally Linguistically Responsive) methods preferred

Salary Range: $44,182 - $90,327 for 1.0 FTE — based on the current Faculty Master Agreement
