Ryan Auto Mall is excited to announce an opening for a Full-Time Quick Lane Technician. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated and skilled technicians who are eager to advance their careers in the automotive service industry. As a Quick Lane Technician, your role will focus on providing high-quality vehicle maintenance and repairs under a fast-paced environment, ensuring the effective operation of vehicles handled by our service center.
Please note, this is not a remote job, and the successful applicant will be based at our well-equipped facility with state-of-the-art tools and technologies.
- Conduct oil changes and replace filters as part of regular vehicle maintenance schedules.
- Perform light maintenance tasks such as replacing brake pads, flushing brake fluid, and servicing air conditioning systems.
- Inspect vehicles thoroughly to diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs effectively.
- Install vehicle accessories as requested by customers, ensuring specifications and quality standards are met.
- Ensure all tasks are performed efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations and operational protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the service area.
- Document all servicing work and repairs done on job order forms accurately and in detail.
- Communicate with service advisors and parts department to order necessary parts for vehicle repairs and maintenance.
- Provide excellent customer service and address any customer concerns regarding vehicle condition and the services performed.
- Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and service practices to enhance service delivery and efficiency.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further technical training in automotive services is preferred.
- Proven experience as an automotive technician or similar role with a focus on quick service operations.
- Familiarity with modern automotive technology and the specific tools and equipment used in vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong diagnostic abilities to promptly identify mechanical issues in vehicles.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers.
- Dedication to maintaining top quality service and operational standards.
- Flexibility in work schedule, as this position may require weekends and extended service hours.
- Keen attention to detail to ensure all servicing and repairs are performed without error.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
