Delivery and Service Technician

Our Monticello, IA location is looking for a Delivery and Service Technician to join their team. This is an excellent, full‑time opportunity to become part of our Employee‑Owned Company. This is a first‑shift position, Monday through Friday.

Customers who need delivery of water and salt rely on your promptness, efficiency, cleanliness and courtesy when delivering and promoting products and services to their home or business. You will go the extra mile to communicate with the customers on service‑related issues and recommend the best course of action. We will train you to install and service water treatment equipment used in homes and small businesses, and you will learn about water treatment while performing routine maintenance, filter changes, sanitizations and equipment exchanges.

• Customer service experience required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience and ability to work independently without supervision.
• Technical experience and mechanical aptitude required; training will be provided.
• Delivery experience helpful; experience driving a large service vehicle preferred.
• Knowledge of the geographic area helpful.
• Ability to read a map.
• High school equivalency required.
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical certificate required.
• Valid driver license:
  Class C required;
  Class D non‑commercial chauffeur license will be required after hire.
• Physical requirements are heavy, including ability to lift 80 pounds and move 250 pounds with assistance.
