Description:

The position requires a registered nurse specialized in Medical-Surgical/Tele.
A minimum of 1.5 years of experience in a similar setting is required.
First-time travelers are accepted if they have the necessary experience.
The nurse must possess BLS certification.
ACLS and NIHSS certifications are also required.
Floating within the facility or to nearby affiliates is mandatory for all travelers.
The nurse will be responsible for interpreting and managing dysrhythmias.

Experience with rapid response teams is essential.
The role includes care and management of peripheral lines and oxygen therapies.
Isolation precautions must be adhered to at all times.
Work schedules may include weekends and require working 2 out of 3 major holidays.
The ideal candidate should have experience in patient ratios of 5-6 patients per nurse.
Charting will be performed using the Cerner system.
Experience in community hospital settings is preferred.
Candidates should be skilled in telemetry and cardiac telemetry management.
Care for surgical drains, chest tubes, and tracheostomies is expected.
Knowledge of intravenous insulin protocols and medication administration is necessary.
The daily patient census is approximately 9.
The facility consists of 18 beds.
Flexibility in scheduling and pre-approved time off policies is included.
Supervisory references may be requested as part of the hiring process.
Nurses must comply with all facility policies and protocols.
This role requires strong communication and teamwork skills.
Candidates must be able to manage high-stress situations effectively.
Candidates should be prepared for a self-scheduling approach.
