As the Echo Tech, you’ll perform comprehensive echocardiography studies, including transthoracic and, when credentialed, transesophageal imaging, Doppler assessments, and stress echo protocols. You’ll prepare patients, explain procedures, and ensure comfort and safety throughout each exam. Responsibilities include optimizing image quality through probe selection and technique, documenting findings clearly for cardiology teams, and upholding rigorous quality control and equipment maintenance standards.
You’ll coordinate with physicians, nurses, and technologists to streamline workflow, participate in case conferences, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. This role is designed to expand your horizon through cross-site exposure, mentorship, and potential involvement in advanced imaging workflows.
- Perform comprehensive echocardiography studies, including transthoracic and, when credentialed, transesophageal imaging, Doppler assessments, and stress echo protocols.
- Prepare patients, explain procedures, and ensure comfort and safety throughout each exam.
- Optimize image quality through probe selection and technique; document findings clearly for cardiology teams; uphold rigorous quality control and equipment maintenance standards.
- Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and technologists to streamline workflow; participate in case conferences; contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Engage in cross-site exposure, mentorship, and potential involvement in advanced imaging workflows.
- Weekly pay range: $2,188 – $2,317
- Signing or relocation bonus potential
