Job Overview

Aquatics Group Fitness instructor – presents aquatic group fitness classes at Tri Health Fitness Health Pavilion, Montgomery. Opportunity to add hours at GE Fitness Evendale.

• Deliver safe, effective aquatic group fitness classes for all skill levels.
• Lead, educate, monitor, and motivate participants; provide appropriate cueing and modifications.
• Communicate with supervisory staff on a regular, ongoing basis.
• Attend continuing education workshops and seminars to stay current with industry trends.
• Complete annual requirements – CPR, AME, flu shot, and attend instructor meetings.
• Use proper protocol when finding substitutions for classes.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• BLS/AED certification.
• Specialty discipline in NCAA‑Accredited program (AEA, ACE, AFPA) within 3 months of hire.
• 1–2 years of aquatic & land fitness experience preferred.
• Strong teaching strategies, cueing, and ability to modify movements for varied fitness levels.
• Enthusiasm, motivation, music and equipment use aligned with class needs.
