Registered Nurse - Cardiography/Cardiac Testing

Part Time Day Shift - Bethesda North Hospital

Location

10500 Montgomery Rd, Montgomery, OH 45242

Must be willing to rotate between several locations which include:

  • Arrow Springs
  • Bethesda North Hospital
  • Thomas Center and/or Kenwood
Work Schedule
  • Part Time Days - (40 hours bi-weekly)
  • 7:00am - 3:30pm or 7:30am - 4:00pm
  • Weekend rotation (usually every 13th weekend)
  • Holiday rotation

This role performs a broad range of advanced cardiac diagnostic procedures, including cardiac stress testing with real‑time EKG interpretation, cardiopulmonary exercise testing, and tilt‑table testing;
Cardiac PET imaging and Cardiac CT angiography take place in the Radiology department. The position also supports the echocardiography team through Definity contrast administration and Bubble Studies, including IV insertion and maintenance. Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking are essential, as the role requires continuous interpretation of cardiac rhythms, patient responses, and diagnostic findings to ensure timely, safe care. Team members also assist with departmental operations as needed, contributing to a collaborative and patient‑focused diagnostic care environment.

Job Requirements
  • Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing (Required)
  • New hires required to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire. (Required)
  • Minimum of two years of nursing experience in a Telemetry/Cardiac or ICU setting (Required)
  • Knowledge, judgment, and skills derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences to meet complex health care needs at various stages of the life cycle
  • Preferred membership in related professional organization
  • Registered Nurse licensure required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
  • Must have ACLS or obtain during orientation
Job Responsibilities
  • Conducts comprehensive patient assessments and develops individualized plans of care.
  • Delivers safe, high‑quality nursing care while maintaining patient dignity, autonomy, and cultural sensitivity.
  • Recognizes and responds to emergencies; completes timely, accurate documentation.
  • Collaborates with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate and update care plans.
  • Administers medications and treatments safely; operates equipment according to policy and standards.
  • Provides patient and family education to support understanding, recovery, and discharge readiness.
  • Oversees delegated tasks and supports team members through training and communication.
  • Engages in ongoing professional development and participates in quality‑improvement initiatives.
