• Operate end dumps and/or belly dumps (with and without pups) and related equipment safely and efficiently.
• Deliver soils, aggregates and other materials to residential and commercial locations.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, oil, grease, service, and make normal operating adjustments to the truck.
• Lift/move transported materials as needed.
• Load and unload large quantities of water for compaction and/or dust control as required.
• Maintain time and material records and communicate effectively on the radio.
• Connect and disconnect pup trailers and maneuver with double and triple pups; back and maneuver in various settings.
• Ensure equipment is in safe working condition and perform minor servicing; refer major problems to the supervisor.

• Thorough operational knowledge and skills of end dumps and/or belly dumps (with and without pups).
• Class A license.
• Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Must follow verbal and written instructions.
• Knowledge of different types and sizes of aggregates.
• Strong maneuvering and backing skills with double and triple pup.
• Effective radio communication.
• Ability to connect and disconnect pup trailers.
• Physical ability to lift and move 10–30 lbs, climb, sit/drive, shift gears, cover/uncover loads, change wheels, adjust lugs, and use hand tools.
