Commercial Refrigeration & Warehouse Maintenance

COMMERCIAL REFRIGERATION & WAREHOUSE MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
MONTGOMERY, AL

We have an urgent need for a skilled technician to support both commercial refrigeration operations and overall warehouse maintenance. This role is hands‑on and fast‑paced, responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and efficient facility operations.

• Perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on commercial refrigeration systems (approx. 20% of workload).
• Maintain, repair, and service warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyors, dock equipment, and other material‑handling machinery (approx. 80% of workload).
• Conduct routine facility inspections to identify mechanical or operational issues.
• Perform electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs as needed.
• Complete and update maintenance logs, work orders, and equipment documentation.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company maintenance standards.
• Assist with emergency repairs and respond promptly to equipment breakdowns.
• Collaborate with warehouse leadership to support operational efficiency and equipment uptime.

• Experience in commercial/industrial refrigeration repair preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience maintaining forklifts and warehouse equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC/R principles, hydraulics, and general facility maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot independently and manage multiple tasks.
• EPA refrigeration certification or willingness to obtain is a plus.
• Strong commitment to safety and reliability.

• Ability to lift and move equipment as required.
