What does a Cook at Sagora do?
  • Cook à la carte items
  • Monitor stock
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, food storage, and work areas
  • Assist with training of all culinary team members
  • Follow established methods of meal preparation and presentation
  • Serve meals to residents promptly and in a friendly and courteous manner
What do you need to be a Cook?
  • One or more years of experience in a commercial kitchen (preferred)
  • Must possess Serv Safe Certification and a Food Handler’s permit as regulated by state and local authorities
  • Must have skills in preparing specialized dishes for specific diets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and other team members
