Our hospital is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to help provide outstanding patient care and client service in a fast‑paced, multi‑doctor animal hospital. The Veterinary Assistant assists veterinarians in the care of animals, restraining animals during examinations, stocking examination and surgery rooms with supplies, sterilizing tools, ensuring equipment is in working order, communicating with pet owners, and updating patient files.

• Assist veterinarians during initial examinations by restraining animals when necessary.
• Stock examination and surgery rooms with supplies and sterilize tools.
• Ensure all equipment is in working order.
• Communicate with clients and update patient files.

• Professionalism, dependability, and positive communication skills.
• Ability to multi‑task and work flexible hours, including some weekends.
• Energetic, people‑and‑pet oriented with excellent work ethic and organizational skills.
• Prior experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.

• Prior customer service experience.
