We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Private Duty Nurse to provide personalized nursing care to patients in the Montgomery, AL area. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality, one-on-one care in a home or private setting, ensuring the health, comfort, and safety of the patient.

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in their homes or private settings.
• Monitor patient health by checking vital signs, administering medications, and managing treatments as prescribed.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including hygiene, mobility, and nutrition.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team or family members.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health management, medication administration, and disease prevention.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies, providing appropriate interventions.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for the patient.

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Alabama.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, preferably in home health, hospice, or private duty nursing.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Reliable transportation to travel to patient homes within Montgomery, AL area.

This position involves providing care in patients’ homes, requiring adaptability to different home environments and schedules. The nurse must be comfortable working independently and managing patient care with minimal supervision.
